well i don't play PvE long time ago...but i still have some skills ;) the raid leader atm is magnus...since we both from the same country, maybe i could help him about which tactics to use in the raids...we will be probably online at the same time, so that's an advantage.

Can you tell me some more information where you had that experience?

if i may ask... shouldn't there be class leaders aswel for a raid?
because a raid leader wouldn't know much about another class because he/she doesn't play it and what i've experienced at wow is that some leaders don't even know what some classes are capable of...
and ofcourse the hunters gets blamed, was a hunter class leader and got all the blames because they didn't knew what hunters were capable of and i had to explain it to them...

Leader experience in WoW TBC:Leader in 10 mans raid instance (Karazhan), 5 mans group leading in different instance(Dungeons). Arena Teams Leading(2v2+3v3) and PVP Group leading(this is only place where i leaded more than 10 mans raid).
But like you said. Decide it ingame.
Class leader are those who are active online mostly of time, and analyze players classes ability, gear, experience and if they follow the rules/tactics or they lack of something. By analyzing the players in paticular classes.

For exampel: We going for Hardcore Raid instance. (can take 3-5 hours maybe more like 6-9 hours).
Main Leader/Guild Leader/Raid Leader, can ask Class leaders (can also create a plan for Raid group, before starting raid of couple days) about who is capable to join raid for this paticular situation, while also focus on replacement for players in bad situation. We need flow in our guild. So we dont go to slow.
This way will Officers/leaders have easy to control entire guild. And dont need to think alone or rather do everything alone.

It is not like we dont want unexperience player with raid instance or other instance (Class Leaders role is also make unexperience players, experience in all instance and raids, so remember it!!)
Even i can replace my self with others players. everyone will gain experience in Endgame content/Entire Aion Content with this Guild trust me!!!
